I compared a simple weekly log to a full color-coded monthly spread and the plain one won by a mile

I spent 6 months doing those fancy monthly calendars with washi tape and different highlighters for every category. Last week on a Tuesday morning I ran out of time and just threw down a basic weekly list in my Leuchtturm. I got more done that day than any of those pretty weeks because I wasn't spending 10 minutes deciding which color to use for 'bills' versus 'errands'. Has anyone else found that their simplest spreads actually work better?

Oh so you're saying my 47 different highlighters were a waste of money? How DARE you bring logic into this. I bet your bills still get paid on time even with a boring list.
