Just realized my minimalist monthly spread works way better than my old detailed one

I used to cram every event, task, and reminder into my monthly log, but I kept losing track of what mattered. Switched to just a simple list of 3-4 key priorities per week and a tiny habit tracker, and my productivity actually went up. Anyone else find that less is more with their layouts?

Read something similar about how too many options actually stress our brains out simpler setups just let you focus on what matters. Makes total sense for planning like it does for everything else.

Yeah, the whole "too many options" thing is real. I tried using one of those fancy planning apps with like 50 different views and it just made my brain hurt. Switched to a simple paper notepad and a single calendar view and I actually get stuff done now. It's like the less I have to think about the system, the more I can think about what I'm actually supposed to do.
