My coworker Jake changed how I think about weekly spreads

I've always done these elaborate weekly spreads with washi tape and color coding. Last week Jake looked at my journal and said 'you're spending more time setting up than actually writing in it.' At first I was annoyed but he was right. I timed it - 45 minutes of setup for maybe 10 minutes of daily use. Anybody else ever have someone call them out on the prep work vs. actual logging ratio?
