My custom yearly tracker took me 4 hours to set up for 2025

I got obsessed with making a perfect color-coded habit grid and redrew the whole thing twice. Anyone have a faster method for yearly layouts?

Actually sounds like time well spent to me. That careful setup probably makes you way more likely to stick with it all year. Rushing it would just lead to a messy page you ignore by February.

So those 4 hours might be doing double duty as planning and building a mental habit. People who rush the design stage tend to drop off faster from what I've seen online. A clean setup really does help you stick with tracking through the whole year.
