Picked grid paper over dot grid for my new journal, and 40 pages in I think I made the right call
I ran out of pages in my old journal two Saturdays ago and stood in the aisle for way too long holding a dot grid and a graph paper one. Everyone online swears by dots, but I went with the grid since I mostly do habit trackers and monthly logs, not fancy art spreads. My lines come out straight for once and I can count squares instead of eyeballing how wide to make my columns. I did smudge one week's tracker because I drew it in pen, so that part is on me, not the paper. Three weeks in and my sleep log finally looks readable instead of a wobbly mess. Now I'm wondering if I should switch my work notes journal over too, or if that is just asking for trouble. Anyone else here run grid paper for their whole setup, or do you keep two kinds around?
