Rapid logging felt like a scam, now I get the hype

I spent 6 months doing elaborate weekly spreads in Seattle and still forgot half my tasks, so I blamed the system. Then I tried true rapid logging with just a daily line and a dot, no headers or colors, for 3 weeks and my brain finally clicked. Anyone else find that simpler setups beat their fancy layouts once they gave them a fair shot?

Oh man, this hits home! My buddy swore by his color-coded planner for years and kept missing deadlines, then he switched to a plain notebook with just bullets and dates, and suddenly he was on top of everything. It's wild how our brains sometimes just need less noise to actually focus on what matters.
