Saw a dude at a coffee shop in Denver tracking his whole life in one $8 notebook and it kind of blew my mind
He had a three line daily log going with a cheap pen and no fancy layouts at all, just tasks and notes from like 2 months back. Made me wonder if I'm overdoing it with my 6 marker color system, anyone else ever downshift to something this plain?
Read somewhere that a lot of the bullet journal people end up going back to just one pen after a year or two, because the fancy systems start taking more time than the stuff they're supposed to track. The guy with the three line log is basically doing what most productivity books say to do anyway. Less time messing with your setup means more time doing the actual things on the list.
