Unpopular opinion: I turned my bullet journal into a worm farm log.

Now my daily spread includes notes on how happy the worms are, which is oddly satisfying.

Okay but let's be real here. Bullet journals are supposed to help you get things done, not track worm feelings. It just sounds like a messy way to mix up two totally different hobbies. You might end up with dirt stains all over your nice journal pages. And how do you even tell if a worm is happy? That's just asking for made-up notes. Seems like a fast way to ruin a good system for no real reason.

My buddy Mark put his worm bin notes right next to his work tasks. Actually got him to check the whole list more often.

Actually systems should serve the person, not the other way around. If tracking worm bins makes someone check their journal more, that's a win. Noticing little things like how fast they compost coffee grounds or if they're all up near the lid after a rain teaches you to pay better attention. That focus can spill over into actually getting other stuff done too. It's all connected if you're into it.
