A customer in my shop pointed out my pork chop cuts were too thick for quick cooking, said they were 'like little steaks'.

Sounds like they wanted a pork chop, not a pork challenge.

Tell me about it. Saw a place last week serving a "deconstructed pork Wellington" that was just a sad piece of meat next to some cold pastry. Some chefs are trying way too hard.
