Appreciation post: A customer at my shop in Boise asked me to show him how I break down a pork shoulder, step by step.
He watched the whole 20 minute process without saying a word, then just said, 'That's a real craft,' and it felt better than any tip I've ever gotten.

Remember my friend who got that surprise award at work? She said her boss just stood up in the meeting and listed all these small, specific things she'd done that no one even knew he noticed... she said she almost cried right there at the table.
