Dropped $200 on a used meat saw at an auction and the gearbox was full of rust
I bought a Hobart 5214 blind at a farm auction near Ames last month for $200 thinking I got a steal. Got it home, pulled the cover, and the gearbox had rust soup inside because the last guy hosed it down instead of wiping it. Anyone know a good source for replacement gears on these old saws, or should I just eat the loss and part it out?
