TIL my meat grinder can't handle chicken bones
Was making some wild game sausage last weekend and thought I'd throw in a few leftover quail bones for flavor. That thing locked up so bad I spent 45 minutes taking it apart with pliers. Anyone else learn the hard way what not to grind?

My mom tried to grind up some beef for burgers and tossed in a garlic clove with the paper still on it. Spent an hour picking little bits of skin out of the meat.

Did she not notice the paper when she tossed it in, or was she just hoping it'd grind up fine like it was nothing?
