Beware of the 5-star review clusters on that new smartwatch app

I checked the dev's other apps and they all have the same pattern of glowing reviews posted within a 2-hour window. Has anyone else spotted this with other digital products?

That "coordinated launch effort" idea falls apart when you check their old apps from last year. Those have the same two-hour review clusters, which means it's a pattern, not a one-time fan push. It's clearly a strategy, not real user excitement.

Couldn't that just be a coordinated launch effort from a small group of fans? I've seen real users do that to help a project they like.
