Buddy swore by his $60 review-buying service and it backfired hard

My friend Mike told me last month to drop $60 on this gig where people post fake 5-star reviews for your product. He said it boosts your ranking overnight on Amazon. I tried it for a small batch of my new phone grips. The reviews came in fast but they all said stuff like 'great product' with no details. Amazon flagged my account two weeks later and removed all the reviews plus put a warning on my listing. Now I'm stuck with 12 ratings and no way to get real feedback. Has anyone else dealt with getting penalized for buying reviews and how did you recover your seller account?

$60 and now you're the proud owner of a flagged account. Nice hustle.

$60 for an account that gets flagged almost immediately? That's a brutal way to learn that lesson. Hard to believe people still fall for those cheap listings when platforms catch them so fast now. Did the seller give you any kind of warning before the flag happened?
