My dad told me to ignore the one-star reviews for our new fridge
We bought a Samsung fridge from Home Depot last year and I was scared by all the bad reviews about ice makers breaking. He said most people only write when they're mad, so look at the 4-star ones for real problems. He was right, the 4-star reviews all mentioned the water filter being hard to change, which it totally is. Anyone else have a parent give them solid review advice that worked out?

My mom always told me to read the one star reviews first. She said they show the worst case scenario you need to be ready for. That advice saved me from buying a car with known transmission issues.
