Overheard a lady at Target saying she never reads reviews before buying stuff

She was loading up her cart with a cheap air fryer and some knockoff coffee maker, saying she just goes by the picture on the box. I couldn't help but wonder how many returns she's made from that strategy. Has anyone else run into people who think reviews are just a waste of time?

Yeah @the_sarah got it right, I use to just grab whatever looked good till a blender almost caught fire.

Wow, just going off the picture with no research at all? That's wild to me, especially for appliances that can be a pain to return. I mean, I've definitely bought something based on a cute box design before and regretted it after one use. Do people really have that much time to waste on bad purchases?
