Spent $60 on a carpet cleaner rental, my sinuses are finally clear

Rented one of those Rug Doctor machines from the grocery store last weekend. My apartment carpet had three years of dog smell and dust baked in. Ran it twice over the living room and the water came out black the first pass. Got rid of the rental after 24 hours, but the headaches and stuffy nose are gone. Has anyone else had allergy relief just from deep cleaning their floors?
