That 2018 review that made me rethink everything I wrote

I was scrolling reviews for a backpack in 2018 and saw one that just said 'fabric pills after 3 months' with no fluff. It hit me how I'd been writing these essay-length reviews that nobody actually reads, and now I just stick to one specific flaw or benifit per review. Anyone else pare down their review style after noticing what actually gets clicks?

Do you track which short reviews actually got more engagement or just assume they do?

Oh man, I once wrote a five-word review that got more replies than a full paragraph I'd spent 20 minutes on. Do you find the short ones just naturally catch more eyes or is it random?

Yeah it's weird how that works. Short and punchy seems to grab people's attention way faster maybe because it's easier to agree or disagree with. Sometimes I'll write something quick and get way more replies than something I actually put effort into.
