That review about my headlights made me check my own light setup

I saw a buyer review on some LED bulbs from Amazon, and the guy was complaining about glare for oncoming traffic. I always thought brighter meant better, but he explained how the cutoff line works in the housing. Now I actually tested mine at a loading dock in Flagstaff, and wow, they were scattering light everywhere. Has anyone else fixed their beam pattern after reading something like that, or am I overthinking it?
