The $40 headlamp that died on a rescue call made me go back to my old one
It blinked out at 2 AM in the woods near Silver Falls last month, and the spare batteries in my pocket were the wrong size, so now I'm back to the wired 10-year-old Petzl that has never let me down, has anyone else had a premium gadget fail at the worst moment?
