TIL a bad review I left for a hotel in Nashville changed how I look at feedback
I was in Nashville for a pest control conference last year and stayed at a place that had a roach problem. I wrote a pretty blunt review about it online, just stating the facts. A month later, the hotel manager called me directly. He didn't argue, he just apologized and explained they'd hired a new exterminator and redid their whole kitchen cleaning schedule. He even offered me a free night if I was ever back in town. It made me see that a clear, honest review can actually lead to a fix, not just a complaint. Now when I read reviews for my own business, I look for that same kind of specific detail that tells me what really went wrong. Has anyone else had a company actually follow up on a negative review you posted?

Ever get a follow-up that actually fixed the problem?

My last follow-up email just asked if I'd tried turning it off and on again.
