Warning: That $40 electric toothbrush I bought on Amazon lasted 6 weeks before the motor died
I saw all these 5 star reviews saying it was a great deal so I grabbed one. After 3 weeks the battery wouldn't hold a charge and now it just makes this sad buzzing noise. Tried to return it but the seller ghosted me. Has anyone else had luck getting refunds on cheap electronics from third party sellers?

72 bucks for a toothbrush that sounds like a dying mosquito when it works. I’d try filing a claim with your credit card company, that’s the only way I’ve ever gotten money back on those Amazon third party ghost sellers.

That chargeback method works sometimes but doesnt it depend on the card issuer? I had Capital One deny a claim once because they said I waited too long, even though the item broke after a week. What bank do you use that actually approved it?
