Went to a local farmers market and noticed something weird about the reviews
I was at the farmers market in Eugene last Saturday grabbing some produce, and I overheard this lady talking about how she only buys from stalls with 4.5 stars or higher on Google. It got me thinking, because I saw a stand that had like 200 reviews but most of them were from the same three people over and over. I checked on my phone and sure enough, half the reviews were from accounts with no other activity. It kind of made me question how much I trust online ratings for small vendors. Has anyone else noticed fake reviews at their local markets or is this just a Eugene thing?

Yeah bots are totally flooding review sections now. It's getting ridiculous honestly.
