Why do people keep praising five star reviews without reading them?
I see it all the time on Amazon and other sites. Someone gives five stars and the review says things like "arrived on time" or "looks nice in the box." Then you scroll down to the three star reviews and they actually describe how the product worked after six months of use. Just last week I bought a kitchen gadget based on the high rating and it broke after three uses. The top reviews never mentioned the flaws. Am I the only one who sorts by critical reviews first now?
