Am I the only one who found out the hard way that plywood from the big box store sits at 11 percent moisture

Man, my buddy Dave learned this one the hard way last summer. He built a whole workbench out of that cheap 2x4 studs and plywood from the Depot, glued and screwed it all together, then watched it twist and gap like crazy over the next two weeks as it dried out in his garage. He ended up having to cut it apart and start over with wood he let sit in his shop for a month first.
