I finally got a callback from that tough client 6 months later

Remember that guy who walked out on me last year when I quoted his kitchen cabinets? He called me Tuesday out of the blue. Said he had three other guys come through and none of them could match the dovetail joinery I showed him in the samples. I drove over to his place on Wednesday and we sat down at his kitchen table for almost 2 hours talking about walnut vs oak. He asked me point blank why I use box joints instead of butt joints for the drawer boxes. That conversation stuck with me because he actually listened and asked real questions instead of just nodding. We start the install next month and I'm nervous but excited. Anyone else have a client come back way later after giving you a hard time?
