I think pocket holes get way too much credit in this trade

After building cabinets for 8 years I switched to domino joinery for face frames and my squareness went up by a solid 30%, no more tweaking frames before glue up. Am I the only one who thinks pocket holes are just a crutch for bad layout?

Man you're right about that "crutch for bad layout" thing... I used to swear by pocket holes for everything but after seeing how much cleaner my face frames come out now I feel kinda dumb for defending them so long.
