That $150 drawer slide jig now lives behind my bench

Bought a fancy self-centering dovetail jig last fall for a kitchen job, but it only worked on one drawer size and then started slipping. Hand layout with a square and marking gauge took me the same time on the next six drawers. Anyone else have a pricey tool that just gathers dust now?
