Had a wake-up call on HDMI installation during a home reno

I used to pull HDMI cables tight against studs for a clean look. But on a home reno job, moving the outlet showed me how bad that can be. Now I use clips that give some slack, and it's way better for changes later. What's your take on leaving slack in walls?

Honestly a tight cable just looks way cleaner to me.

Actually, pulling a cable too tight can damage it over time. A little slack keeps things working right!
