That new apartment complex on 5th Street has me questioning our standard coax runs
I was out there last week for a pre-wire, and every unit has a media panel in a closet, but the runs to the living room wall plates are all over 50 feet. Everyone says to just use RG6 and it's fine, but with that length and the potential for future high-bandwidth stuff, I think we should be pushing for RG11 on the main feed at least. Has anyone else run into a setup like this and argued for a better spec?

Yeah, I was in the same boat until a job like that bit me later.

What makes you say that, @hugo_singh? I've found the opposite can be true sometimes. A job that seems small can actually be a great way to build trust and get a bigger project later. It's all about how you handle it and show you care about the work. I wouldn't write off any job just because it seems simple at first.
