Wasted $200 on a bad crimp tool - stick with the name brands
Bought a no-name crimper off Amazon for cheap. First 50 terminations looked fine. Then had three callbacks in two weeks where the connectors just slipped off. Tore my hair out before realizing the die was a hair too big. Tossed it and got a Klein. Has anyone else had junk tools cost them more in service calls later?

Three callbacks in two weeks from a $200 tool? That's brutal, I'd be beyond furious. Did you at least get a refund from the seller or were you stuck holding the bag?

You said "three callbacks in two weeks from a $200 tool." That's exactly why I'm asking. Did the seller even acknowledge the defect when you tried to return it?
