Best week I've had in ages - fixed 3 shutters in one afternoon
Last Thursday I had three different Canon AE-1 shutters come through, all with the same sticky magnet issue. Cleaned and adjusted all three before my shift started at 7pm, which never happens. Anyone else ever get a lucky streak like that where everything just works?

Had three AE-1s with that same sticky magnet issue back in March 2022. I cleaned them all with 99% isopropyl and a q-tip, let them dry for about 15 minutes, and every single one worked perfect on the first test roll. Felt like I was cheating or something. Usually I mess up at least one adjustment and have to go back in. That feeling when you close the film door and the advance lever clicks smooth is just unbeatable.

When you say "sticky magnet" is it the electromagnet itself or just gunk on the contact point?
