Coastal humidity is eating up camera bodies in my shop

I put moisture absorbers in every repair job now. It really helps prevent future problems.

Swear by that method. Watched corrosion slow way down in my own gear cases.

Hold on, is corrosion really that big a deal for most people? Most gear just sits in a garage. I've seen old cases with surface rust that still work fine. Feels like we're solving a problem that isn't there for the average person. Unless you're leaving your stuff in a salt marsh, it seems like overkill.
