Shoutout to the guy who brought his grandma's 1964 Polaroid for a 'quick fix'
He handed me this brick of a camera that had more tape than plastic holding it together, then watched me drop a screw into the carpet during teardown, took 10 minutes to find it under my bench in Dallas. I got it working with a paperclip and some grease, but he asked if I could 'upgrade it to Bluetooth' afterwards, anyone else get wild requests like that?

and honestly the Bluetooth part is the wildest thing I've heard this week, but that paperclip fix is way more impressive than any modern upgrade. those old Polaroids are built like tanks, they just need love and a steady hand, not a circuit board swap. plus if you did add Bluetooth you'd probably have to gut the whole thing and lose the soul of the camera, which is half the charm.
