Showerthought: I finally bought a proper sensor cleaning station last month
Dropped about $800 on it, which hurt at the time. But it saved me from having to turn away two Leica M10 sensor cleanings this week, which would have been a real bummer. What's the one tool you guys bought that felt expensive but paid off fast?

Ever notice how good tools solve problems you didn't know you had?

Guess it depends on the tool. Sometimes it's just a fancy gadget that solves a made up problem, like a single use kitchen thing you use twice. Not every new thing is a life changer.

Oh man, that's so true... it's like the best tools don't just fix a thing, they change how you do everything. You get used to a slow, annoying way of working and just accept it as normal. Then a good tool comes along and shows you how much time and stress you were wasting... makes you wonder what else you're putting up with that could be easier.
