Thought a $15 lens spanner wrench was junk but it worked fine on a Canon 50mm 1.8
I was fixing a stuck focus ring on an old Canon FD 50mm f1.8 last week and needed a spanner wrench. Everyone online says to get the metal ones for at least $50 so I was Skeptical about the cheap plastic one from Amazon. It held up fine through the whole job and didn't break or strip the screws. I used it on 3 different lenses that day including a tricky Minolta 28mm and it worked every time. Has anyone else had good luck with cheap tools like this or did I just get lucky somehow?
