Why does everyone push ultrasonic cleaners, nobody talks about the damage
Stopped by a shop in Portland last month and the owner swore by his 40k ultrasonic for every lens he touched. I've seen those things loosen internal adhesive on older zooms, my 80-200 from 1995 rattles now after a tech ran it through one. Am I the only one who still prefers hand cleaning for anything pre-2000?
