PSA: my rent hit $2,400 in Kitchener and that number finally broke my brain
Signed my lease renewal yesterday and watched the total creep past what my mom pays on her whole mortgage in Windsor. Did the math on a napkin at the bar and I'm paying $800 more per year than my neighbor with the same 1 bedroom because I moved in 14 months later. Has anyone actually won a rent review with the LTB over a hike like this, or is it just a waste of time?
