Spent 6 weeks trying to close on a house in Hamilton because the seller's lawyer kept losing paperwork

It took 6 weeks to close a simple house sale in Hamilton because the seller's lawyer kept losing the signed documents and we had to redo them three times, has anyone else had a deal drag out that long over basic admin stuff?
