Threw $500 down the drain on a home inspection that missed everything

Home inspector breezed through my Oakville semi in 45 minutes, gave me a clean report, and I moved in only to find knob and tube wiring hidden behind drywall and a basement that floods every time it rains. Anyone else have an inspector who clearly phoned it in and left you with a money pit?

Yeah I mean that sucks but are we sure this is totally on the inspector? Rain and old wiring can be hiding in plain sight if you don't know exactly what to look for. Maybe a second opinion before blaming the guy entirely would be fair.
