TIL a house in Vancouver sold for $1 over asking and it made me laugh for 10 minutes
So I was poking around sold listings on Zealty last week and found a detached place on the east side that sold for $1,682,001. The list price was $1,682,000. Someone literally bid one single dollar more and won the house. I get that bidding wars are nuts out here but imagine losing a home over a loonie, has anyone else seen a sold price this petty?
