Visited a new townhouse complex in Kitchener and the parking situation is wild

I went to look at a new development off Homer Watson last weekend and counted maybe 15 visitor spots for over 100 units... seems like everyone has two cars now. The builder said they designed it to the bare minimum city rules but it feels like a disaster waiting to happen. I can't imagine trying to host a dinner party or have family over on a weekend. Has anyone else run into this with newer complexes around Ontario?

My partner and I bought in a newer complex in Mississauga a few years back and had the exact same panic when we saw the visitor parking. What ended up working for us was getting to know a few neighbors right away and kind of coordinating, like if someone has family coming on Saturday they'll post in the building group chat and people with empty spots let them use theirs. Also we always give guests clear instructions to park at the strip mall down the street if it's real bad, and just walk over, beats circling for 20 minutes. Honestly the builder won't do anything extra once they sell the units so you have to figure out your own system or it'll drive you crazy every holiday.

Builder profit over common sense, story as old as time. We checked a place in London and the visitor lot was literally 6 spots for 80 units. Nightmare fuel for anyone who has people over.
