Worst showing I ever had was last Tuesday in Mississauga

The agent showed up 15 minutes late and the place smelled like cat piss from the unit below. Anyone else have open houses go totally sideways like that?

Does the cat piss thing ever really come out, or are you just stuck marketing a place that's basically a biohazard? I had one where the smell was so bad I brought an air purifier and a scented candle to the open house, and people still walked in and turned right around. It's like you can't win when the building itself is working against you and there's nothing you can do about it.

Oof, that sounds brutal. I feel you on the cat piss thing, that smell just sticks to everything and there's no way to spin that to clients. Showing up late on top of it just makes the whole thing feel like a disaster from the start. I've had a few open houses where the heating was broken in January and everyone kept their coats on while they rushed through. Hope your next one goes smoother, you deserve a break after that one.
