Can we talk about how long I fought a stuck trailer hitch ball mount?
Took me over 3 hours last Saturday to get a ball mount out of my receiver on my F-150. I sprayed PB Blaster, tried a sledgehammer, even heated it with a torch... nothing worked. Finally had to borrow a friend's air hammer from his shop up in Kelowna and it popped out in 30 seconds. Has anyone else dealt with a rusted hitch that just refuses to budge?

Man, that's brutal. I been there too with an old Tacoma I had. Hit it with everything, even a torch. Nothing worked till I drove it over a curb and bounced the truck a few times. Pop. Done.

DUDE. Oh man, I FEEL your pain on this one. I had the exact same fight with my old Silverado a couple years back. Spent a whole Saturday whaling on it with a sledge and a pickle fork, got nowhere. What finally worked for me was a weird trick my buddy showed me. I took a big breaker bar and a cheater pipe, put it on the hitch pin, and just put CONSTANT pressure on it, like leaning on it for a solid 10 minutes. No banging, just steady pressure. It let out a horrible screech and then popped loose. Air hammer is definitely the pro move though, that's a smart call.
