Picked the heated grips over handlebar muffs for a Calgary winter, fingers regretting it now

After 3 weeks of -25 mornings I keep asking myself why I chose the $140 Oxfords instead of the $60 muffs, the grips only warm the palms while my knuckles go numb by the time I hit Deerfoot, anyone else stuck with the same setup and just live with it?
