PSA: Saw a moose casually walking through a gas station lot in Sudbury

I stopped at the Esso off Highway 17 last Thursday and this big fella just strolled past the pumps like he owned the place, no one even blinked except me. Has anyone else had a wildlife encounter that made you question who really runs the show up here?

The moose definitely has seniority here, that's for sure. I had a similar moment up near Timmins where a black bear just sauntered through the Canadian Tire parking lot like it was checking the sales flyer. Nobody even slowed down, just a guy holding a coffee watching it from ten feet away. Up here I think the wildlife has figured out we're just renting the land from them.

Honestly, @veraw47 nailed it with that "renting the land" line. I think wildlife around here has already filed the eviction notice, we just haven't read it yet. That moose probably pays more property tax than I do.
