That trail marker confusion cost me 5 hours on Seymour

I was riding the Baden Powell trail on Mount Seymour last Saturday and hit a split where two different colored markers pointed in opposite directions. Ended up going down a washed out gravel path that was unrideable and had to hike my bike back up. Has anyone else had a similar issue with the trail markers on the North Shore being inconsistent?

Come on now, the markers on the North Shore are some of the best maintained trail systems anywhere. I've been riding Seymour for twelve years and the colored markers are super clear if you just pay attention. Blue for Baden Powell, orange for Old Buck, it's not rocket science. That washed out gravel path you ended up on was probably the old logging road that's clearly marked with a red X at the entrance. Maybe take a photo of the trail map at the parking lot next time instead of blaming the volunteers who keep those trails rideable.

But @charlie_ellis, don't you think most people just want to ride and not memorize a color chart?
