The dispatch app I hated for 6 months finally won me over

I've been fighting with this dispatch app since they made it mandatory back in March. Thought for sure it was just a way for the company to track us and take a bigger cut. But after I got stuck in construction on the 401 last Tuesday and the app rerouted me around it automatically, I started paying attention. Saved me like 45 minutes that day and the payout was still the same as my normal route. Has anyone else had a tool they hated turn out to be actually useful after giving it a real shot?

Wait you're telling me the app actually paid out the same when you took a different route? Thats wild, I figured they'd pocket the difference somehow.

Oh come on, it's not that deep. They probably just have a flat rate for that zone and don't bother tracking every single turn you make. I've taken longer routes before and still got the same payout, it's not like they're watching your every move through the GPS for a few bucks difference.
