Three years after buying my used KLR650 in Vancouver, I finally fixed the electrical gremlin that killed my battery every two weeks

Last month I traced it to a corroded ground wire under the seat, and now it starts first try every time - has anyone else had a mystery drain that took forever to find?

Did you read that thread where a guy found his drain was just a nail in the tire?

Did you check the main harness connection under the tank too? I had a similar slow drain on my old bike and it turned out the connector pins were slightly loose from all the vibration. A little dielectric grease and a zip tie to hold them snug and it's been solid ever since.
