Took me 4 days to realize my GPS routes were stuck on US spec

I kept planning rides around Vancouver and my turn-by-turn would tell me to take exits that don't exist. Turns out my Garmin was set to imperial and US road types, so it was treating our highways like interstates. Switching to metric and Canada mode fixed it in 5 minutes. Anyone else have this issue with a US-bought unit after moving out here?

Man, same thing happened to me with my US unit up in Calgary, kept missing turns for a week.
